SPECIALTIES

  • Trauma isn’t defined by how “big” an event was, but by its lasting impact. It is any difficult life experience that continues to cause distress and affects how you feel, function, or relate today.

  • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing.

Many people think they don’t have “big enough” trauma for EMDR. But EMDR isn’t about how extreme something was—it’s about whether it’s still affecting you. EMDR helps reduce the distress so you can respond from the present instead of the past.

  • Our early relationships shape how safe and connected we feel with others. When those experiences were inconsistent, overwhelming, or emotionally unavailable, it can show up later as anxiety, insecurity, or uncertainty in relationships. Through EMDR and attachment-focused work, we can gently explore these patterns, heal what was missed, and create new ways of relating that feel more connected, present, grounded, and whole.

  • Self-worth is about recognizing your value as a person, not just what you do or how others see you. It’s less about external achievements or approval and more about how you feel about yourself on the inside. Building self-worth means exploring your core beliefs, understanding what truly matters to you, and learning to treat yourself with acceptance and compassion, even when it feels hard or unfamiliar.

  • Emotional wellness issues show up when emotions feel hard to manage and daily life feels heavier than it should.Emotional wellness is woven into my specialty, offering support for those who feel emotionally overwhelmed, reactive, or disconnected and want things to feel more manageable.

Start your Journey

I’m a trauma therapist trained in EMDR and Internal Family Systems (IFS), with experience in equine-assisted trauma work. I help people make sense of why their past still shows up in their thoughts, emotions, and relationships and how to find more freedom from those patterns.

My approach is centered on helping your nervous system feel safe and meeting every part of you with compassion and grace. Together, we work toward moving out of survival mode so life can feel more grounded, present, and aligned with who you were created to be.

When I’m not in the therapy chair, you’ll find me, outdoors hiking, horseback riding, spending time with my family, or curled up with my Kindle. Coffee is non-negotiable, and a good book is my favorite way to unwind.
